The ‘Finding your Feet’ fashion show took place on Wednesday 4th November at the Movida club in central London, with great success. The whole event raised over £9,000 from ticket sales and over £5,000 from the silent auction all for the Diana Award charity. It was a really busy night with the guests sipping on cocktails whilst enjoying the two fashion shows and live DJ sets.

Here are some photos from the night including my work.

Fashion Fringe – LIDIJA&DEJAN Spring 2010 collection

Like with my Final Year Collection, Glossom liked my work that I did for Lidija&Dejan so much that it will also be showcased on their welcome page from Monday 5th October.

My final year collection will be showcased again in November in the ‘Finding your Feet’ fashion show, in London.

Originally the show was to be purely for apparel designers but again I used my initiative and now my work will be show as part of an exhibition – since I will be the only accessories designer there. It should be a good event as it’s to promote young designers and graduates alongside established brands like Nicole Farhi and Paul Smith.

Will post up more info soon.

The silent auction, to raise money for the Hoi An Orphanage, is now over and the final bid for my bag was £150 which I’m very happy about as all the money goes to a good cause. I have also been told that my my design created a bidding war resulting in the highest bidded bag for the exhibition!

I hope whoever won my bag gets a lot of pleasure out of it, as I have a very similiar style of bag which I designed and made and I use it constantly!

Here are the more detailed shots from Elle magazine of my bags.

The Hoi An Exhibition and Silent Auction at London College of Communication, in Elephant & Castle, started on Tuesday 22nd and already there has been a lot of interest from bidders.

Considering the organisers, Paul and Jemma, had to work around a black out in Elephant & Castle to get it all ready for opening night, they both have done a great job. There’s a real mix of styles from the bag designers which caters to everybody’s tastes.

At the moment the current bid for my bag is £150 which is great – so long as it goes to a good home I’m happy!

You can view all the bags that are up for auction here and this is also where you can place your bids online.

The exhibition and silent auction runs from 22nd – 26th September 2009 at the London College of Communication, Elephant & Castle.
